SkyPrivate stands out because it gives you a lot of the perks of camming without much of the publicity. If you want to earn from home but don't want to perform for a big public room, it's worth a look. Here's the good, the bad and the ugly.
How it works
SkyPrivate connects models directly with paying members for one-on-one video calls. There are no free shows, and you don't put yourself in front of thousands of people. Your profile is the only public part, and only if you want it to be. It can hold photos, a short video and a bit about you.
Members pay by the minute. When a call ends, the money goes into your account, and you wait for the next one. You take as many calls as you want, whenever you want. No platform makes you completely anonymous, but one-on-one calls feel a lot more private than running a public room.

Getting started
SkyPrivate is one of the easier platforms to join. It's not my first choice, for reasons I'll explain below, but signing up is simple.
- Register. Fill in the basic sign-up steps. Then set up a separate account for your calls, just for work. Back in 2020 that was a dedicated Skype account. Keeping it separate protects your privacy. Can you imagine your grandma calling while you're in spicy lingerie? I would die.
- Get verified. Like every legitimate cam site, SkyPrivate checks that you're an adult and can be paid properly. In 2020 that meant a photo of your driver's license or passport (front and back), a photo of you holding the document, and a recent utility bill with your name on it.
- Set up your profile. This is the fun part. Use a video for your banner rather than a still photo. Write a detailed description of every type of show you offer, and upload plenty of photos and videos. The more members can see, the more likely they are to call you.
- Take calls. Share your referral code with anyone you already know who might book you. If you don't have anyone yet, that's fine: calls come, just slowly at first. In 2020, the plugin showed whether a caller had enough funds before you started. Wait for that check.
- Get paid. After each call you get a summary and an email, and you and the member can rate each other from 1 to 5.
Payment and rates
SkyPrivate is very international, and you can be paid several ways, from bank transfer to crypto. Most US models I know take direct deposit. In 2020 you needed at least $40 in earnings to withdraw. Check SkyPrivate's current terms for today's minimum and payout methods.
You set your own per-minute rate. In 2020, most models charged $1 to $2 per minute. Charge more for specialty shows, and list those prices clearly on your profile.

The verdict
SkyPrivate is a good fit if you want a more private way to cam. It's easy to use and well laid out. Rates were on the low side in 2020, so I saw it as a bonus alongside other sites rather than a full-time job. It's also a low-pressure way to find out whether camming is for you before you try public live shows.
