This is BaileyBae's yearly look at the cam industry, built from data rather than opinion: two years of tracked public tips across the big cam sites, five years of Google search interest, and traffic estimates. Every number on this page comes from that data, and you're welcome to cite it (see [how to cite this report](#how-to-cite-this-report)).
1. Tips are up, a lot
BaileyBae analysis of tracked public tips (site-wide totals, not any performer's income), Oct 2024 to Oct 2026. Times are US Eastern.
Across Chaturbate, Stripchat, BongaCams and CamSoda, tracked public tips grew from about $1.6 million a day in October 2024 to about $3.3 million a day in October 2026. Comparing the last 12 months with the 12 before:

A caveat we want to be clear about: these are tips our data source tracks. Some of the growth may come from it tracking more rooms over time, not just people spending more. Treat the direction as solid and the exact size as an estimate. LiveJasmin isn't in the growth chart because its tracking only started in 2026, and most of its money comes from private shows that public tracking can't see.
2. Stripchat is pulling ahead
Stripchat grew faster than any other big site: +58% year over year, against Chaturbate's +21%. Its growth came from every kind of room:

Over the last four weeks of data, Stripchat took 53% of all tracked tips across the six big sites and Chaturbate 35%. Together they took 88%. Everything else is a small, specialized site. See sites like Chaturbate and sites like Stripchat.
3. Searches are falling, except for one site
Google search interest in the United States (Google Trends), weekly, averaged by month. 100 is the highest point in the chart; it shows how interest changed, not the number of searches. Checked October 28, 2026.
Google search interest tells a different story from tips. Searches for 6 of the 7 biggest cam sites have fallen over five years, most of them from a peak in late 2021:

Only Stripchat's searches are rising, and they're at their highest point right now. Put that next to the tip data and a picture emerges: fewer new people are searching for cam sites, but the people already watching are spending more, and they're spending it on fewer, bigger sites.
4. Where the money goes, by room type
- Couples: about 84% of all tracked couples tips went to Stripchat. See the best couples cam sites.

- Interactive toys: rooms tagged Lovense took 23% of Chaturbate's tracked tips and 75% of BongaCams'. See Lovense for cam models.

5. When people spend: holidays and paydays
Holidays move the numbers more than you'd think. Here's each holiday's tracked tips compared with the same weekday in the weeks around it:

New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve are two of the busiest nights of the year, and Valentine's Day is reliably up too. Big sporting events don't move it: Super Bowl Sunday looks like any other Sunday.
Paydays show up as well. The last few days of the month and the 1st run about 7% higher than the middle of the month. For performers, that's a good reason to plan special shows around the end of the month. For viewers, it's when rooms are busiest.

What this means
For viewers: the biggest sites are getting bigger, and that's where the choice is. Stripchat for couples and daytime, Chaturbate for late nights and the widest mix. Start with our free cam sites.
