This is arithmetic, not a prediction. Results are estimates, not verified earnings; actual income varies with your hours, audience and site. How we estimate earnings.
The math, in plain words.
Weekly gross is your hours times days times tips per hour, plus private minutes times your private price. Monthly gross is weekly times 52, divided by 12. Your payout is the gross times your payout share. Take-home is your payout minus your monthly costs, before tax.
We don't show "average earnings". Real earnings vary hugely, and an average would mislead more people than it helps.
Assumptions, spelled out
- Every input is yours. The starting values are examples only. Replace them with your own numbers, ideally from a log of real shows.
- Months are averaged: 52 weeks divided by 12, so about 4.33 weeks per month. Yearly figures are monthly times 12.
- Your payout share is applied to everything viewers spend. Some sites pay a fixed amount per token instead of a percentage, and some use levels that change your share; use the share that applies to you.
- Costs are monthly and fixed: gear, internet, toys, software. Payment or withdrawal fees aren't included unless you add them here.
- Before tax. Take-home doesn't include income tax or self-employment tax. Set money aside from every payout and check with a tax professional where you live.
- Every day is treated the same. Real earnings swing a lot between days and weeks, especially at first. In our tracked data, Friday and Saturday were the busiest days on every big site (see cam site statistics).
Questions people ask
How much do cam girls make per hour?
There's no honest single answer: it depends on the site, the hours you stream, your niche and how many regulars you build. This calculator works from your own tips-per-hour estimate. Track your real shows for a few weeks and use those numbers.
What share do cam sites take?
It differs by site, and some sites pay per token rather than a percentage. We publish each site's figure only after confirming it on the site's own pages, with the date checked. Until then, use the number from the site's current model terms.
Does this include taxes?
No. All figures are before income tax and self-employment tax.
