MyFreeCams in brief

MyFreeCams gives new models a "new model" label that brings real exposure while they learn, and it holds events for its models. Its community rewards consistency: show up at the same times, learn your regulars' names, and the room builds. The flip side is the ranking score, which drops on days you don't earn and can reduce how often you're shown. Check the site's current model terms for its payout share. Our beginner's guide covers MyFreeCams from the model's side. Read our MyFreeCams guide for models.

Stripchat in brief

For models, Stripchat's size is the draw: more viewers means more chances to be found. Its daytime peak is a genuine advantage if you live in the Americas and don't want to work until 2am. The trade-off of a big site is competition, so a strong profile, a clear schedule and regular promotion matter even more here. Check Stripchat's current model terms for its payout share before you sign up. Read our Stripchat guide for models.

For models: head to head

For a woman starting out, MyFreeCams offers a "new model" label with real exposure, events for its models and an audience that rewards consistency. The flip side is its ranking score, which drops on days you don't earn and can reduce how often you're shown.

Stripchat offers the biggest audience and a daytime peak, which matters if you'd rather not work until 2am. It's also open to couples, trans and male performers, which MyFreeCams effectively isn't. Check each site's current published payout share before you join.

Timing: when each one is busy

MyFreeCams was busiest from 10pm to 2am Eastern and Stripchat from 9am to 1pm Eastern. MyFreeCams's biggest day was Saturday; Stripchat's was Saturday. The tables below show how each site's tips spread across the day and the week. If you can only stream at certain hours, that alone may decide it.

BaileyBae analysis of tracked public tips (site-wide totals). Period: September 28 to October 25, 2026, Eastern Time.

Traffic: how many people visit

In September 2026, MyFreeCams had 58.4M visits, and visitors stayed an average of 5m 08s, viewing 5.08 pages. Stripchat had 608.1M visits, averaging 4m 25s and 4.54 pages. Longer visits and more pages usually mean people are browsing rooms rather than bouncing straight off. (Traffic: Similarweb, September 2026.)

Growth: two years of tips

Over the last 12 months, tracked tips on MyFreeCams were up 27% on the year before, and on Stripchat they were up 58%. The chart shows average tips per day in each month. Part of any growth may come from wider tracking, so treat the direction as solid and the exact size as an estimate.

Best for: room types and categories

Tips show where viewers actually spend time. Here's how much each site's rooms took over four weeks, by room type and by the category tags performers choose. Stripchat has the bigger audience in every category we track for both sites.

BaileyBae analysis of tracked public tips (site-wide totals). Period: September 28 to October 25, 2026. Categories use each site's own tags, so rooms can count in more than one. "Not tracked" means that site doesn't use that tag in our data.

Interactive toys and cam2cam

Interactive shows, where tips control a performer's toy, are a big part of camming. Here's what we know for each site:

• MyFreeCams: works with Lovense's Cam Extension; rooms tagged Lovense took 28% of its tracked tips.
• Stripchat: works with Lovense's Cam Extension; women's rooms in its cam2cam category took 59%.

Lovense support: Lovense's own list of supported sites. Tag shares: BaileyBae analysis of tracked public tips, September 28 to October 25, 2026. More in Lovense for cam models and the best cam2cam sites.

Counts are performers online now. A number with a + is a minimum. See every site at once on who's live now.

Couples

MyFreeCams: no couples scene to speak of. Stripchat: couples took 22.7% of tracked tips, about ~$12M over four weeks. For more, see our best cam sites for couples.

Safety and verification

MyFreeCams: performer verification in progress. Stripchat: performer verification in progress. Our platform guides cover how each site checks performers are adults and the privacy settings worth changing before you go live.

On either site: make sure everyone who appears on camera has passed the site's verification, use a stage name and region blocking, never take payments outside the site, and keep a log of every show. If anything looks wrong, especially anyone who might be underage, report it to the site and to NCMEC's CyberTipline.

The bottom line

If you're a couple, a trans performer or a man, the choice is made: Stripchat. If you're a woman, decide by schedule and style. Daytime streaming and the biggest crowd point to Stripchat; late nights and a close-knit room point to MyFreeCams.

Because their peaks are about half a day apart, a woman who can stream at both ends of the day could reach two very different audiences. Most models do better focusing on one first, though, so start with the community that feels right and add the other once you have a routine.
