The short answer
How to delete your Chaturbate account
- Before you start: cancel any paid plan, use or let go of your tokens, and (if you perform) collect your last payout.
- Log in on chaturbate.com, typing the address yourself.
- Open your account settings from the menu under your username.
- Choose the option to close or delete your account and confirm.
- Can't find it? Use the Support link at the bottom of any Chaturbate page and ask them to close your account.
Before you delete: three things to check
Deleting is the easy part. These are the things people regret not doing first.
- Stop anything recurring. If you pay for any membership or plan, cancel it first. Deleting an account doesn't always cancel a payment that's already set up.
- Decide about your tokens. Tokens live inside your account, so expect to lose any you haven't spent. Use them first, or accept losing them.
- Performers: get paid first. Collect your final payout and save your earnings records for taxes before you close anything. You may need your account to see them.
After you delete: clean up
Your account is gone, but a few traces stay on your side. Ten minutes here keeps things private.
- Your card statement. Chaturbate purchases usually show under a discreet billing name rather than "Chaturbate". Check next month's statement to make sure nothing new appears, and see cam site billing names if a charge confuses you.
- Saved cards and payment apps. Remove any saved card from your browser or wallet that you only used for cam sites.
- Your email. Delete Chaturbate emails if you share a device, and unsubscribe from anything you still get.
- Your browser. Clear Chaturbate from your history, saved passwords and autofill.
- Your password. If you used the same password anywhere else, change it there. You can check whether your email has turned up in a known data breach at Have I Been Pwned.
Taking a break instead
If you think you might come back, don't delete. Log out, remove the app shortcut and saved password, and come back when you want. Deleting is best treated as permanent.
For performers: a few extra steps
Closing a broadcaster account takes a little more care:
- Get your last payout and download your earnings history first.
- Keep your records. Hold on to anything you'll need for taxes this year.
- Recordings may outlive your account. If your shows were recorded and posted elsewhere, deleting your account won't remove them. Our guides to recordings and leaks and DMCA takedowns show how to get them taken down.

Questions people ask
How do I delete my Chaturbate account?
Log in on chaturbate.com, open your account settings from the menu under your username, and look for the option to close or delete your account. If you can't find it, contact Chaturbate through the Support link at the bottom of any page and ask them to close it.
What happens to my tokens if I delete my account?
Expect to lose them. Tokens live inside your account, so spend any you want to use before you close it, and check Chaturbate's terms if you have a large balance.
Will deleting my account stop charges?
Only if nothing recurring is still active. Cancel any paid plan or membership first, then check your card statement for the next month to make sure nothing new appears.
Can I get my Chaturbate account back after deleting it?
Don't count on it. Treat deleting as permanent, and if you might come back, take a break instead of deleting.
I'm a performer. What should I do before deleting?
Collect your last payout first, save any records you need for taxes, and keep your payout and ID details until you've been paid. If recordings of your shows are being shared elsewhere, see our guide to recordings and leaks.
